lol, just found these photos in one of my random folders of shit. This was our very first stealth mission. we were so scared we got smashed on straight vodka before we went in lol. pretty cool, scary as it was like 2am in the morning and had a big walk there and back. Me, Reaper, Oost, Smitty-D and cuntface all went in. Cuntface thought it was a good idea to try and get caught by the security guard (don't ask, i still don't know). didn't take photos of the night mission, but we went and took photos of the outside during day. all exterior shots

Just a quick mish to take some photos before this place disappears entirely: a victim of sprawling suburbia and a Maori busin^H^H^H^H^Htribe with no respect for New Zealand's heritage. An article I read the other day said that now demolition has begun, the City Council is having second thoughts about allowing Ngai Tahu to demolish the last remnants of what was once an amazing building, built by a significant New Zealand architect. Sadly, a quick look over the building's current state of demolition shows that this new-found concern has really come too late. Most of the roof is gone, the interior is gutted and the floors are in the process of being ripped out. I wouldn't expect it to be standing for more than a couple of days. my very 1st experience. we had to be uber careful here, as there is fully functioning mental hospital around the area where sunnyside asylum used to be, and where sunnyside used to be there is land leveling and construction going on we climbed under the wire construction fence and went over to the only building that is left. it is all boarded up with "keep out, deadly asbestos" written on the boards all over the place. so we didn't even try and get in. there is one open window, it is on the second level and not very accessible. right so, we wondered around the building taking photos. there was a hole in one of the boards so u put my camera into it and got the room ont he other side. then i spied a old fountain took photos of that, found a bridge over what used to be a pond,... read more
