We've been keeping an eye on that big new building under construction on Gloucester st in town. It was a quiet Saturday night, but there was still a whole bunch of drunk people attracting a whole lot of attention to themselves... After a perimeter scout we found this tiny gap between the building and another existing building, perhaps less than 2 feet wide. 20 meters later we decided to Lara-Croft it up the gap to climb on to the first story, remaining invisible from the street. The building itself is huge. It's pretty much what you would expect - a whole bunch of random tools, machines, first aid kits, buckets of paint, etc. The building itself is perhaps the tallest in Christchurch now? Climbed up this crane the other night - had really hoped to get right to the top but theres a locked gate thats maybe 2/3s of the way up that stops you going any higher. If you were really fucking keen you could bridge across from the crane structure onto the open floor of the half-constructed building. Almost ran into the garbage man coming back down.
